I find it interesting that Don & family spent a lot of time with Daisy whilst living in England and visited her on subsequent trips but to my knowledge we never made any attemt to contact any other members of the extended William Badger line. One day i will get that line added to this site.

Daisy was a dear little person, she was in her 60's when we first met her and had had some brain surgery which resulted in her hair being somewhat irregular. She had the quaint Scottish way of saying "uhuh" when agreeing or acknowledging something that was said and became forever known as uhuh-uhuh to my siblings and I.

She lived in a beautiful appartment not far from Edinburgh castle and this could be seen from her escarpment window. She lived on the top floor of a three or four storey apartment and had access to the ceiling area which was mainly used for storage. She would bound up the stairs to her flat like a uyoung gazelle whilst we trailed in her wake.

Our family with Cousin Jean visiting Daisy in Edinburgh. This may have been our first meeting with Daisy.
